AMI Marine Ltd are proud to be supporting ‘International Women’s day’. This last year has seen a rise in women’s rights and issues being discussed in the media.
It is important to highlight real issues to ensure fairness and equality across genders. The maritime industry has typically been male dominated, and though this is evolving, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight our mixed gender business and introduce our team.
Our sales team is headed up by Lauren, she has fantastic dedication to her work and her business skills have streamlined the sales department and increased sales significantly.
Our accounts department is led by Tracy, who has organised the company’s books and streamlined AMI’s client accounts. Tracy’s experience and patience has been vital to the management of the AMI accounts department. Cheryl drives the operations team, coordinating stock control, along with looking after our customer shipment’s, – ensuring that our equipment is delivered in good condition to a time dependent industry. Lucy runs AMI’s marketing and communications department, promoting our business across social media platforms as well as keeping the company website in tip top condition. Janine is our newest team member, having just joined our team this week. Janine will be managing AMI special projects together with our directors as well as assisting the AMI accounts team.
Company director Martin Cox has added “we are working towards achieving a 50/50 male and female team. Thus far, we have grown into a strong and dynamic team, always enjoying a happy environment here at AMI Southampton. We are serious about business, customer service and quality, but also pride ourselves in caring for our team as a whole, promoting a healthy family life. ”
